On January, 4, 2021, I woke up paralyzed from the waist down. It was determined that I had a spinal stroke. Before my SCI I was an active runner, hiker and backpacker. I love being active in the outdoors. It was my goal to get back to doing some of the things I loved before. I got my Kelly Brush grant in 2022 and I got my Reactive Adaptations, NUKE, off-road handcycle in May 2023 and I've never looked back!
