Wheelchair Softball Challenge

Wheelchair softball, established 30 years ago, allows adaptive athletes to enjoy America’s pastime. Played with a 16-inch ball on hard surfaces, the game is similar to traditional softball but requires unique skills as players maneuver, catch, throw, and bat using only their hands. Most players forgo gloves for better mobility, making for an exciting and dynamic viewing experience.
