Hey!
I wanted to show you the Adaptive Rec Hub! It’s a completely free online platform that helps individuals learn about adaptive sports, where to get started, and adaptive programs that can support you through your rec journey.
The Adaptive Rec Hub has a Member Map where you can find others in your area to connect with and potentially find someone to recreate with. They also have a Grant Finder with up to 80+ grant opportunities to help you get started! Those are just two of the awesome features on the platform, so check it out to learn more!
If you have an SCI, the KBF has dedicated scholarship programs to help you get started, try adaptive equipment, and see what sport might be the best fit for you. A major focus of KBF is equipment grants, so once you find what you’re looking for, they can help fund adaptive sports equipment. KBF continues to open opportunities to increase community participation, so keep an eye out for their fun camps!
The KBF is there for you when you need it. Reach out to [email protected] if you have any questions!
