The Bridge Adaptive Sports & Recreation

We are collectively a group of healthcare providers, Paralympians, athletes, and community advocates dedicated to improving access to sport and recreation in the Greater Cincinnati area. We aim to be the central hub for adaptive sports in our area and be “the bridge” to where you want to be through connections with our community.

We offer Try-It days throughout the year, which are cost-free opportunities to give a sport or activity. This can be anything from adaptive snow skiing to rock climbing to even indoor sky diving. That way you can see if you like something before committing longterm. As a team of primary healthcare providers, we just want people with disabilities to find their home and identity in something outside the walls of a hospital.

We currently host our own regular programming as a chapter of CP Soccer and are looking to add more regularly occurring programming in the near future. Stay tuned!

Lastly, we have a large bank of used adaptive sports equipment that is ready to be loaned out if you would like to try something out. With the wild expenses around adaptive sports, it’s important to know what you want before you invest in your own equipment. Try out our stuff, find what you like, and when you’re ready, we’ll help get your own!
