Skateboard Program

Green Mountain Adaptive Sports is partnering with Talent Skatepark in Burlington, VT to offer an all-inclusive, adaptive skateboard program designed for athletes with physical and/or neuro disabilities.

These sessions provide a safe and supportive space for individuals who need extra assistance to enjoy the thrill of skateboarding in a way that works for them.

GMAS awards scholarships to Vermont residents to receive 6 sessions of lessons, including the rental of all necessary equipment. Dates for the next session are May 3rd-June 7th. The weekly sessions are held on Sundays, from 11am-12pm and are limited to 5 athletes.

Skoaches at the Talent Skatepark participated in an extensive GMAS’s sponsored training and are excited to welcome participants to this fun activity. Read more here.

If you’re looking to step outside your comfort zone and find the magic of skateboarding, this program is for you! Join us for a fun, empowering experience that celebrates everyone’s ability to ride.
