Rowing Saturdays Program

BlazeSports America is excited to continue our partnership with the Atlanta Rowing Club to offer veterans with disabilities the chance to experience adaptive rowing on Saturdays. This program is open to all experience levels, and the Winter season sessions will be held on the water, weather permitting.

Participants will learn from experts about the sport of adaptive rowing, including classifications, safety practices, and the use of adaptive equipment. They will also gain an understanding of the importance of proper rowing technique, stroke rhythm, and how to navigate various water conditions safely.

Whether you’re new to rowing or have some experience, this program provides a welcoming and encouraging environment for all participants. It’s an excellent opportunity to build both physical and mental strength, all while connecting with others who share similar experiences. Veterans will not only learn a new sport but also develop resilience, teamwork, and confidence in their abilities. Adaptive rowing is an empowering activity that promotes wellness, teamwork, and personal growth.
