Rec Wheelchair Basketball Program

This weekly series is geared towards older junior players (16+) and developing adult wheelchair basketball athletes with permanent lower limb impairments.

Wheelchair basketball promotes teamwork, sportsmanship, and camaraderie. Not all players use wheelchairs for everyday mobility. Players must be able to independently push themselves in a sports wheelchair.

This is a new experience for Sportable, and we do not yet have all the answers. We are looking for athletes who are excited to try pickleball, provide feedback, and figure things out with us. The gym will be reserved exclusively for the clinic, providing a quiet environment for testing audible signals and other adaptations.
