McKenzie Pass Ride

Kick off the summer cycling season with an epic ride to the top of Central Oregon’s iconic McKenzie Pass scenic bikeway! This is an OAS-supported road ride for individuals looking for a challenge and epic views to ride to the McKenzie Pass Summit

The McKenzie Pass Scenic Bikeway is a seasonal highway, only open to cars in the summer months when the high elevation snow has melted and the roads are cleared. In the late spring however, enthusiastic cyclists take advantage of the partially plowed roads from maintenance activity, to ride the pass while it is still closed to vehicle traffic.
